Tata Motors has silently introduced a new trim to the Nexon line up - XZ+ (S) and XZA+ (S) which comes with an electric sunroof for both petrol and diesel engines. The prices for the same starts at Rs 10.40 lakh for the base petrol and fetches till Rs 12.40 lakh for the top-spec diesel engine.

This new trim gets all the features which are there in top-spec XZ+ (O) except for the connected car technology. It is a derivative of the top trim if you like to say it that way.

This trim misses out on features like remote start/stop, geo-fence alerts, live vehicle status, vehicle diagnostics, trip analytics, valet modes and among others.
It also gains some new features when compared with the XZ+ and XZA+ trims. With this trim, Tata Nexon now gets an electric sunroof, automatic headlamps, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, express cool, tyre pressure monitoring system, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob.
Sharing more details then the Nexon facelift was launched in January 2020 with some updated exterior and interior design. The SUV also gets updated engines which are now BS6 compliant.

The 1.5L, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine puts out 108 bhp on tap with a peak torque of 260 Nm. And the 1.2L petrol makes 118 bhp with 170 Nm of torque. Transmission for both engines sticks to a 6-speed manual gearbox and an optional AMT.
