The new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio launch is just a few weeks away and its official teaser is now out. Just recently, we gave you a glimpse of its interior shots and features that will be available in the new Scorpio and Mahindra has now finally teased the Z101 model that will be called the 2022 Scorpio in the Indian market.
Powering this ladder on frame chassis SUV will be the same 2.0L Stallion petrol and 2.2L mHawk diesel unit as the XUV700. However, the power and torque figures will be slightly detuned. A 6-speed manual transmission as standard along with an optional 6-speed torque converter will be offered on the 2022 Scorpio along with a four-wheel-drive set-up. However, a 4WD set-up is likely to be reserved to the top of the line variants.

Feature-wise, do expect an electric sunroof, dual-zone climate control, powered driver's seat, a larger touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, a new multi-information display that gives out information like temperature, seat-belt reminder, tyre pressure and more.
Other features include full LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED lights, diamond-cut alloy wheels, drive modes, push-button start/stop, dual-tone interior, keyless entry, traction control and others. The all-new Scorpio will not only target the rural and semi-urban areas but will be a massive successor from its previous generations to give a choice to urban buyers too.
