1. Hyundai Creta- 15902 Units
The Hyundai Creta has maintained its position as the top-selling SUV in September 2024 with a total sales number of 15902 in the top-selling compact SUVs. Its strong sales performance can be attributed to its already established brand name, combined with a richer feature set and the flexibility of choosing from three engine options: a 1.5L diesel, a 1.5L turbo petrol, or a 1.5L NA petrol engine. 2. Maruti Grand Vitara- 10267 Units

Being a twin to the Maruti Grand Vitara, the Toyota Hyryder has come up with a big leap to the 4th spot, marking a shift in the buyer's psychology that is now aiming for strong hybrid options due to the shorter lifespan of the diesel cars. Even though the Hyryder is the exact copy of the Grand Vitara with the same engine options and features, Toyota's limited service center reach fetches it almost half the sales number of its Maruti twin.
5. Tata Curvv- 4763 Units
Tata Curvv now sits at the 5th spot even after being a new entrant indicating that the Tata has finally arrived on the compact SUV scene to rival the Hyundai Creta.
