Its diesel engine is one of the most fuel-efficient ones that deliver 21.3 kmpl with the 6-speed manual. The 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel produces 113 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 250 Nm.
Also known as the extended Creta, Alcazar is powered by the same 1.5L diesel as found in the Carens. The ARAI certified fuel economy of the Alcazar sticks to 20.4 kmpl for the 6-speed manual and 18.4 kmpl for the 6-speed AT. The premium offering to the Ertiga, this 6-seater MPV is only available with a 1.5-litre, four-pot motor. It generates the same power as the Ertiga petrol and ARAI certified mileage sticks to 19.01 kmpl with the 5-speed manual transmission and with the 4-speed auto it is 17.99 kmpl. The price of Maruti XL6 sticks from Rs 10.01 lakh to Rs 11.85 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
One of the most underrated MPVs in the market, Mahindra Marazzo is powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine that generates 121 bhp of power with a maximum torque of 300 Nm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission only and delivers an ARAI certified fuel economy of 17.33 kmpl. It is made available in both 7 as well as 8 seater options. This MPV is priced from Rs 12.79 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
