Toyota Hyryder Waiting Period Down To 2 Months, But....

toyota hyryder review

For customers placing orders for the Toyota Hyryder in June, the delivery timeline may span from two to five months. The shortest wait applies to the hybrid versions, estimated at around two months, while it extends to five months for the non-hybrid petrol (Neo Drive) variants. Additionally, Toyota provides a CNG option for the Hyryder, which entails a waiting period of approximately four months. Previously, a few months back, waiting periods reached as long as eight to nine months for the Hyryder mild-hybrid and 1213 months for the Hyryder CNG.

However, do note that the waiting time depends on a lot of dynamic factors like the dealership, location, variant chosen, and the powertrain that you opt for. We suggest you visit your nearest dealership for the exact situation.

The interior design of the Hyryder bears a striking resemblance to that of the Maruti Grand Vitara being a badge-engineered model, distinguished primarily by color schemes. Notable amenities comprise front ventilated seats, a HUD (Heads-Up Display), wireless charging, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), cruise control, SmartPlay infotainment system vehicle stability control, hill descent control, hill start assist, six airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and ABS with EBD (Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution).

Equipped with a 1.5-liter petrol engine generating 91bhp and 122Nm of torque, paired with an e-drive transmission, the Hyryder integrates a robust electric motor good for 79bhp power and 141Nm torque, resulting in a combined output of 114bhp. This hybrid configuration includes an all-electric mode, enhancing fuel efficiency. In contrast, the Neo Drive variant is propelled by Suzuki's 1.5-liter K-series petrol engine, delivering 102bhp and 136Nm of torque, featuring Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) technology for a mild-hybrid set-up. Additionally, a CNG variant is available, powered by the same 1.5L K-series engine.

Verdict

The Hyryder essentially shares its DNA with the Maruti Grand Vitara, albeit sporting a distinct exterior design. The positive aspect here is the reduced waiting period compared to the previous timelines. However, it's important to note that despite the improvement, you're still looking at a minimum wait of two months before you can drive home your Hyryder.
