KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- Toyota Innova Crysta waiting period revealed
- Comes down to three months from the date of booking
- Available with just a diesel powertrain option
Toyota Innova has been at the top of its game since its launch and even when there is a new petrol-powered sibling with an option for a strong hybrid, the classic Toyota Innova Crysta continues to be a leading choice as well. This can be attributed to its lineage coupled with a diesel mill that its newer relative misses out on. However, the waiting time for the same is out and it is now delivering under three months time. Let's look at some more details, but before that, make sure you are a part of our 91Wheels Whatsapp Channel, specifically curated for all the avid petrolheads to never miss out on any automotive updates.

Toyota Innova Crysta Waiting Period November 2024
The waiting period for the Toyota Innova Crysta has significantly reduced, currently ranging from 2 to 3 months. Lower variants generally have a two-month wait, while the mid-spec GX+, introduced in May, has a slightly longer wait time of three months as per the official reports. This is still a lot better than the Hycross waiting times that generally hover around the 1-year mark, although that is more for the strong hybrid variants.
For the new mid-spec GX+ variant, it is equipped with features like a reverse camera, auto-fold mirrors, a dash cam, diamond-cut alloy wheels, wooden panels, and premium fabric seats, and has gained popularity among both private buyers and fleet operators. As a result, it currently has a waiting period of around three months. However, depending on inventory availability, the Innova Crysta, including the top-spec ZX variant, can be delivered in under a month at certain dealerships. However, you might need to hunt a little for these specific dealerships and find out their stock situation.

Powertrain
The Innova Crysta is powered by a 2.4-liter diesel engine that generates 148 horsepower and 343 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Notably, you do not get any automatic gearbox with the Crysta model. The pricing of Crysta starts at Rs. 19.99 lakhs ex-showroom and goes all the way up to Rs. 26.55 lakhs for the top-spec trim.
Verdict
While the high demand for the Innova Crysta has led to a 2-3 month waiting period, it is manageable for most buyers. However, we hope that future demand can be met with shorter wait times. And if you are lucky enough to hunt down dealerships with available stock, you're in for an even quicker take home date.
