Triumph Daytona 660 Unofficial Bookings Underway Expected Price Rs 9 Lakh
Triumph is gearing up to introduce its Daytona 660 in India within the next few months. The starting price is anticipated to be around Rs 9 lakh, with deliveries kicking off soon after. The bike boasts a sleek and aggressive appearance, thanks to its tubular steel perimeter frame and twin-sided fabricated steel swingarm
The Triumph Daytona 660 is the latest addition to the company's lineup of sport bikes. It shares the 660 platform with the Trident 660 and the Tiger Sport 660. What sets the Daytona 660 apart is its upgraded 660cc inline-triple engine, delivering a more robust performance with 95bhp and 69Nm of torque. The bike features a wet, multi-plate, slip-and-assist clutch, coupled with a smooth 6-speed gearbox. In simpler terms, it's a powerful sports model with enhanced engine capabilities, providing riders with an exciting and dynamic experience on the road.

The bike features Showa 41mm upside-down Separate Function Forks with Big Piston technology for a smooth ride with 110mm of wheel travel at the front, while the rear suspension boasts a Showa mono-shock RSU with preload adjustment and 130mm of wheel travel. The braking system includes twin 310mm floating discs with 4-piston radial callipers and ABS at the front and a single 220mm fixed disc with a single-piston sliding calliper and ABS at the rear.
Maintenance-wise, the bike has a service interval of 16,000 km (10,000 miles) or 12 months, whichever comes first. Upon release, the bike will be in competition with the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the Honda CBR650R.
