The Ultraviolette F77 Will Finally Launch!
Ultraviolette has set up their first manufacturing plant near Electronic City, which is expected to churn out 15,000 units of the F77 s in its first year itself. Production will rapidly bump up to 1,20,000 units, annually.
Manufacturing duties will be handled by 500 employees, who will be trained and made experts in EV manufacturing and assembly over the next five years. The UV F77 has come a long way since its pre-production form that was showcased way back in 2019. The first batch of F77 is expected to hit the Indian market in March 2022.

Speaking on the occasion of this announcement was the CEO and founder of Ultraviolette, Mr. Narayan Subramaniam. The EV Company will target international markets as well, so keeping the manufacturing process rapid will be the key to the F77s success. We chose this location given its strategic proximity to our R&D facility in Bangalore as well as a strong supply-chain ecosystem in and around the region, Mr. Narayan said.
Most importantly, the F77 has been designed and built indigenously and over 90 percent of the vehicle including the battery packs, will be manufactured using locally-sourced components. he further added.
Also present at the occasion was the founder and CTO of Ultraviolette, Mr. Niraj Rajmohan. "Additionally, we will deploy sustainable manufacturing practices such as using renewable sources of energy, recycling e-waste, and ensuring zero affluents that will help in significantly reducing the impact on the environment, he further added.

The Ultraviolette F77 is expected to be priced between Rs. 3.00 lakh-3.50 lakh. You can pre-sign up for bookings on their website now. Some of the standout points about the sports bike F77 are.

- It has a range between 130-150 kms with all three battery packages
- Accelerates from 0-60 kmph in 2.9 seconds, 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds
- 33.5hp @ 2250rpm, 90Nm / 450Nm
- Top-speed 147 KM/H, Eco mode / Sport mode / Insane mode
