Honda City has always been the best selling car for Honda and the company always tries to make it better with every passing generation. This time, the 2020 Honda City will be loaded with features you haven't even heard in this segment. Today we tell you 5 unique features of the 2020 Honda City. Honda will launch the new City in the month of July.
Longest, widest and best in class cabin space
The 2020 Honda City has grown in its dimensions dramatically and Honda claims the City to be the longest and the widest car in its segment. Talking about the dimensions, the new City measures 4549mm in length,1748mm in width and 1489mm in height along with a wheelbase of 2600mm. Due to the increased length, width and wheelbase, the new City is the most spacious car of its segment leaving the Hyundai Verna, Maruti Ciaz and Toyota Yaris behind.

LED Headlights and 3D LED Taillights
Honda gave LED headlights and taillights to the current generation City with a mid-life facelift. But the new generation will get full LED headlights with 9 LED array shells and integrated LED turn indicators and DRLs. Taillights are now given with 3D treatment and the LED border light flows to the very end of the side which looks interesting.
Honda Connect
Honda launched the 'Honda Connect' mobile app in 2015 and with the new Honda City, it will be even better. Honda Connect will also get Telematics Control Unit (TCU) which basically tracks your car's location through GPS. We assume it will allow to geo-fence the car and other connectivity features like remote start, remote air conditioning, vehicle health diagnosis and location tracking will also be present.
8.0-inch Touchscreen with Alexa Remote
2020 Honda City will get a new 8.0 touchscreen infotainment system which will support both Android Auto and Apple Car Play. The interesting part is that it will be the first car in India to get Amazon' Alexa remote support. We exactly don't have an idea that how will this feature work but it will be the segment-first feature for sure.
Lane Watch Camera
We have seen this feature in Accord, CRV and Civic but now it is also coming in the City. A wide-angle camera mounted down below the passenger side ORVM shows the blind vision every time you put the indicator stock to the left or press the lane watch camera button. This is a very helpful feature and aids the driver to see the blind spot without any hassle.

G-meter and Tyre Pressure Warning
The only feature V-tec fans are going to praise a lot! Although it is not a big or useful feature but quite a gimmicky one. It will display the G-force in the 7.0-inch driver's MID screen. The Other feature is the tyre pressure warning system. It won't display individual tyre's pressure but warn the driver if any of the tyres start to lose air.
