Bajaj Pulsar N125: What To Expect?
As visible in the latest spy shots, the upcoming Pulsar N125 is going to cater for the commuter segment. It will offer a sporty stance along with a reliable and fuel-efficient engine. The design, not visible clearly due to the camouflage, will be sharp and aggressive. The extended fuel tank shrouds and the sharp headlight design add a futuristic appeal to its design. The test bike seen here is using a halogen headlight.
This sports-commuter Pulsar will get the latest features like a digital instrument console, alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity, USB charger, and more. Also, the hardware consists of a telescopic front suspension, an adjustable rear monoshock, and a single front disc brake. Bajaj can possibly equip it with a single-channel ABS.
The details about its engine are unknown. But, we assume that it might carry forward the same engine as seen on the Pulsar 125. However, Bajaj might change its bore and stroke configuration to make it more sporty and tractable at the lower rev band.
The suspected launch of this new Pulsar would be around the upcoming festive season. Its main rivals will include the Hero Xtreme 125R and TVS Raider 125. For now, the biggest launch by Bajaj would be the CNG bike that is scheduled to debut on June 18.

Verdict
Bajaj's plan on expanding into the 125cc segment further seems correct. The sporty commuter 125cc segment is yet to be explored by the other rivals. Also, the sales figures of its direct competitors are a testament in themselves that a Pulsar N125 makes sense. Nevertheless, we would only be seeing a production model of the N125 by sometime around November.
