Hyundai Venue Facelift

While the overall boxy silhouette of the Hyundai Venue facelift remains familiar, noticeable design updates give it a fresh appeal. The upcoming model continues with the split LED headlamp layout from the current version but adopts a squarer, more robust appearance. The new grille design, which features a broader stance featuring rectangular detailing and an aggressive front fascia, adds a tougher, more rugged character to the front end. The inclusion of front parking sensors and a visible ADAS module hints that the higher trims could come equipped with Level 2 ADAS features, enhancing safety and

The side profile reveals notable departures from the usual as well, where the first has to be all four disc brakes and a new alloy wheel design. Although if this same design is brought here or something changes, we will have to see that one. The cladding, on the other hand, is chunkier this time, aiming to harmoniously complement the bold front facia. Also, the ORVMs now get a more tapered styling, giving them a sharper look than the existing model.

The rear profile is something that has been papped on multiple occasions before, where it gets a connected tail-lamp setup, which is expected to be a refreshed unit with a shark fin antenna and a reworked lower bumper. While the cabin of the test mule wasn't visible this time around, earlier spy shots of the camouflaged interior have given us some hints. It's anticipated that the higher variants of the compact SUV could feature a dual-screen layout, much like what we've seen in the updated Creta. Moreover, a panoramic sunroof is also expected to make its way into the lineup, replacing the single-pane unit offered in the current model, along with other features like ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, a wireless charger, a bigger infotainment screen, and more.

Powertrain Details
Hyundai has yet to disclose powertrain details for the next-generation Venue, but it's likely to continue with the same engine lineup as the current model. This includes a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 83 PS and 114 Nm of torque, a punchy 1.0-litre turbo-petrol delivering 120 PS and 172 Nm of torque, and a 1.5-litre diesel unit generating 116 PS and 250 Nm of torque. Transmission options are expected to remain the same as well, with the naturally aspirated petrol paired to a 5-speed manual, the turbo-petrol offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT, and the diesel mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The launch is expected by the end of 2025, where it will continue to rival the likes of Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Maruti Brezza, and others.
Verdict
The Venue facelift is now making frequent visits to the spy shot verse, dropping some bits and pieces of whats going to come. The SUV is already associated with a feature rich cabin and a smooth ride, and the facelift is only aiming to take it up a notch. Meanwhile, as Hyundai Creta garned maximun sales in March 2025, surpassing every other car in the country, the brand will like to recreate this magic with the Hyundai Venue as well, atleast within its segment.
