In terms of design, it gets similar blacked-out treatment as the GT Line receives, and additionally it comes with red GT badging. However, one important differentiating factor between both cars is that the GT Plus Sport receives a blacked-out roof and red brake callipers.

The interiors of the GT Plus Sport also receive a similar all-black treatment, but here you additionally get red stitching on the steering wheel and the seats. VW Taigun and Virtus Highline Plus

Additionally, Volkswagen has also rolled out a new Highline Plus variant that will be available on the Virtus and the Taigun. This variant will sit above the Highline, and it receives it such as an 8-inch digital cluster, keyless entry, push-button start/stop, automatic headlamps with follow-me function, rain-sensing wipers, and an auto-dimming IRVM, to name a few.

Verdict

After the Taigun, Volkswagen has now standardized the variant differentiation on the Virtus as well, with 'Chrome' and 'Sport' trims on offer. The GT Line and the GT Plus Sport are differentiated by their powertrains and a few exterior bits, and they will likely by considered by buyers who want a sportier-looking mid-size sedan.
