The VW Virtus offers two petrol engine choices. The first is a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 113 bhp and 178 Nm of torque, available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The second option is a more powerful 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 148 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual. The Taigun shares the same engine options as its sibling, the VW Virtus, offering two gearbox choices. The Taigun 1.0L TSI Comfortline MT variant is currently available for Rs 10.89 lakh, reflecting a temporary price reduction.
