1. World's First CNG Bike: How It Looks
Bajaj Freedom 125 is the World's first CNG bike and that's an achievement that this bike would forever carry as a badge of honor, for starting something potentially groundbreaking. The Bajaj Freedom prioritizes functionality in its design, setting it apart from typical commuter motorcycles. Notable features include LED headlights a rugged fuel tank reminiscent of adventure bikes, an exceptionally long seat with 785 mm length claimed to be the segment's longest, and a sleek tail section that adds to its distinctive appearance.
Beneath its exterior, the Freedom features a tubular trellis frame supported by a telescopic fork and a linked mono-shock suspension system. It rolls on 17-inch wheels and is equipped with a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear for braking efficiency.
2. Dual Fuel Tank: CNG & Petrol
On of the main highlights of the Freedom 125 is its dual fuel tanks which are 2 separate compartments for CNG gas and petrol tanks. The vehicle features a 2-litre petrol tank and a 2 kg CNG tank, which weighs 18 kg when fully filled. Using a switch gear on the left side of the handlebar, riders can toggle between petrol and CNG at their will.
3. Engine And Performance: Enough Punch?
The Freedom is equipped with a 125cc engine delivering 9.5 PS of power and 9.7 Nm of peak torque. It boasts a 2-liter petrol tank and a CNG tank, providing a combined range of 330 km on a full tank of both fuels. The rider has the option to switch between the fuel options whenever they deem fit.
4. Features: Optimum For The Segment
The Bajaj Freedom 125 introduces a negative display digital instrument cluster featuring Bluetooth connectivity display. It includes essential readouts such as a speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, gear position indicator, real-time mileage data, and a clock. Notably, the left-side switchgear incorporates a unique blue button for toggling between CNG and petrol modes. In terms of lighting, the NG04 Drum variant starts with a halogen headlight, while the NG04 Drum LED variant and NG04 Disc LED variant offer upgraded LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights (DRLs). All variants across the range are equipped with bulb-type indicators for enhanced visibility.

5. Price, Variants & Rivals
The Freedom 125 comes in three variants: NG 04 Disc LED, NG 04 Drum LED, and NG 04 Drum, each offering a choice of 7 dual-tone color options. Bookings for the Freedom 125 are now open at all dealerships and on the Bajaj website starting today. The pricing is as follows:
