Yamaha India Mileage Challenge took place in Kochi, Kerala. Over 100 participants took part in the event recording the highest fuel economy of 106.89 kmpl.
Yamaha has been continuously trying to setup itself as a leader in the gearless scooter segment. To push its efforts even more hard, Yamah India Mileage Challenge has been conducted recently. The challenge took place in the beautiful city Kochi. The main aim was to gather as many as participants possible. Meanwhile, the logic plunged the participants to ride as efficiently as possible.
Yamaha Mileage Challenge Details
Conducted in Kerala, the challenge had more than 100 participants. According to Yamaha, the participants were enthusiastic and even more customers were trying to participate. Meanwhile, the challenge activity was held along with the support from the local dealership of Yamaha in Kochi.
As per the official records, Yamaha's 125cc range of scooters participated in this event. Right now, Yamaha has Fascino 125 Fi-Hybrid & Ray ZR Fi-Hybrid scooters in its 125cc range. All of the participants were gathered at a venue. The event began with the briefing of the rules, regulations, & the route decided. Additionally, the scooters were checked at the spot by the official technicians. The air pressure in tryes was checked and even a free wash was given to each participant's vehicle.
Meanwhile, the route comprised of mix riding conditions. The participants travelled across the tight city roads, bumper to bumper traffic, & wide open outskirts of the city. The fuelling was done according to the thankful method. Meanwhile, the participants completed the route and reached the destination back again. However, the fuel caps of the vehicles were sealed so that no participant can refuel midst.
Hence, concluding the event once all of the participants arrived; the results were declared. The third spot is won by the Ms Avani by achieving 104.27 kmpl. Meahwile, the second spot is gained by Mr Johnson Thomas after getting 106 kmpl from this ride. However, it is Ms Riya who won the challenge by achieving a whopping 106.89 kmpl from the run.
