Bajaj Qute (RE60)
Bajaj Qute RE 60 is very compact quadricycle, manufactured by Bajaj auto for urban transportation. Qute features a 216 cc petrol engine, 5-speed manual transmission along with a seating for 4 passengers. It’s often seen as alternative to auto-rickshaws and small cars for city commutes. However, the top speed is limited to 70 km/h for safety. Its compact size and lightweight design make it perfect for maneuvering through city traffic, while its affordability and low operating costs cater to fleet operators.

Latest Updates on Qute (RE60)
The Bajaj Qute is set to make a comeback in India with a BS6-compliant engine after being discontinued due to stricter emission norms. Alongside the petrol version, Bajaj is also developing bi-fuel (CNG/LPG) options and an all-electric version, indicating plans to expand the Qute’s appeal in both commercial and private mobility segments.
The 2023 Bajaj Qute was homologated for private use, meaning it can now be registered by individual buyers instead of being limited to commercial use only. It also gets updates like a slightly more powerful 216.6cc engine (around 12.8 bhp), added features like proper windows and possible AC, with launch expected soon at an affordable price point.
