Coming to the dimensions, it is pretty much identical to the 160 4V. 2035 mm in length with 1050 mm of height, it leave an impact in terms of road presence. The wheelbase stands at 1357

same as the Apache 160 4V. It gets a monopod LED headlamp with a LED tailamp. Fully digital instrument cluster and a single-channel ABS. The max. Speed is claimed to be 123 km/hr which is monitored on the digital display. The display unit, hoever, misses out on the gear position indicator and also no riding modes. available on the TVS NTORQ 125 Racer XP scooter already. The instrument cluster on the TVS Apache RTR 165 RP regsiers the speed,distance and also displas the 0-60 km/hr acceleration
time. The Mode and Select buttons are placed on either sides of the cluster.

This is where the RP 165’s all the shine and glory resides. It is this department that the RP 165 was reincarnated. The engine mill is an upgraded 164.9 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine
that is starkly different from the 160 4V. The cylinder head on this one is bigger to accommodate bigger valves when compared to the standard version. Also, the cams are now bigger, that in fact allows 35 % more inflow for an increased level of performance. The pistons are also different than the standard variant, both in shape and design. All this results in 18.9bhp of power at 10,000rpm and 14.2Nm of peak torque at 8,750rpm. While the standard model makes 17.4bhp at 9,250rpm and 14.73Nm at 7,250rpm, the TVS Apache RTR 165 RP clearly takes the charge in performance. The vibrations level are well managed, but emerges when you take it on a throttling ride. Still, they are not on the levels to be considered a deal breaker. With an oil-cooled engine, the engine is capable to be a little more efficient. With just 200 of these made, the exclusivity will be an icing on the cake for the rider.
