- DBDhananjay Basu4 Year ago4.2I own a 2018 Mahindra XUV 500. I Bought my XUV in October 2018 and it was the new facelift model which got a bump in power and design changes. I own the diesel model of the XUV 500 with the manual transmission. I have clocked around 22,000 kilometres on my car as I drive it extensively. I have even taken my car to Leh Ladakh in June and it was a memorable experience. The XUV 500 isn’t very economical in the city but t delivers good mileage on the highway. On highways, it delivers close to 15-18 kmpl of mileage while in the city, it delivers 11-13 kmpl. The maintenance cost isn’t also very much but since it is a diesel vehicle, the cost is on the expensive side. I am happy with my XUV and I don’t plan to sell it anytime in the near future.LikeReplyRead more
- MBManuj Bhatia4 Year ago4.2This is a review for our 2015 facelift XUV500. We bought the top model 4x2 and the vehicle was primarily picked due to the value factor and the design. We have never had a SUV in the family and coming up from a sedan (SX4), the XUV was a different thing all together. However, happy to report that driving it is easy thanks to a not to heavy steering, light steering and easy gearbox. We love the extra space on offer and are satisfied with the after sales support. We don’t use it much, about 1200-1500km per month and hence just got the tyres replaced last month. Parts are bit expensive (brake pads for example) but now that the warranty is over, we will take it to other workshops. Something that needs a mention here is the engine. Even with a load of passengers and using the A/C, the XUV climbs mountain roads effortlessly. Good to see Mahindra offering more than ample performance which can come handy if needed.LikeReplyRead more
