This engine is mated to an 8G-DCT gearbox and it delivers an ARAI-claimed fuel economy of 21.35 Kmpl. 

The third option is an AMG variant which comes with a 2.0-lt, twin-turbo petrol engine. This makes a peak power of 225 hp & 400 Nm of peak torque. Performance-wise the engine lineup of A-class is fantastic and the car feels effortless to drive. The engines have been tuned for maximum efficiency and performance altogether. 

The ride and handling combination of A-class is its USP. Mercedes-Benz engineers have tuned the A-class for customers who want an extremely comfortable sedan.
