Design
The TVS Ntorq 125 is one of the most sporty-looking 125cc scooters available in the Indian market. It comes with sharp design elements and attractive colour options which makes it look good. At the front, it features an aggressive front profile with a signature T-shaped LED DRL, LED headlamp, and sharp nose. The side profile also boasts sharp lines and cuts which gives it a sporty and aerodynamic appeal. The graphics on the scooter adds to the sporty appeal of the scooter. At the rear, it boasts an LED tail lamp and faux air vents, a split grab rail for the pillion, and the sharpness in design continues at the back as well.
The Ntroq 125 stands out in the crowd with its appealing design and color options. The brand has also given contrasted wheels to match with the body paint of the scooter. For instance, the Race Edition gets Red colored alloys to meet the overall vibe of the edition.
Features
The Ntorq comes with an LED headlamp and taillamp, digital instrument cluster, SmartXonnect connected features, turn-by-turn navigation support, voice assist, hazard lamps, and Street and Sport ride modes among other features. The scooter is decently equipped in terms of features.

Performance
Powered by a 124.8cc single-cylinder engine the Ntorq produces 9.3 bhp of power and the Race edition produces 10 bhp of power. Both variants give a torque output of 10.6 Nm.
The scooter performs aggressively and is always ready to pick up speeds. The initial pickup is good and the power delivery is linear. Also, the throttle response will not let you feel any kind of lag in power delivery. You can easily pick speeds and do quick maneuvers on the scooter without any lag. The engine is high revving and you can feel the revs while cruising at low speeds also. It produces a distinctive exhaust note that adds to the enjoyment, standing out from the quieter scooters. The engine is always ready to hit top speed, providing ample power when needed. In terms of fuel efficiency, it can deliver 40-50 kmpl under normal riding conditions, but the mileage drops significantly if you ride aggressively.
As a high-revving engine, it does produce some vibrations at high speeds, particularly in the footboard area and handlebar. While these vibrations are manageable, they do take away the overall refined riding experience.
Ride & Handling
If we talk about road manners and braking, the scooter gets front disc and rear drum brakes and the braking is on point. The front brakes are sharp enough to give you proper stopping power and the rear being a drum unit offers you enough bite.
The scooter comes with telescopic front forks and coil springs with hydraulic dampers at the rear. The suspension is somewhat stiff, making potholes and rough patches noticeable at lower speeds. However, at higher speeds, around 30-40 kmph, the stiffer suspension provides good absorption and maintains stability.
The scooter handles well both on curves and straight lines, providing a strain-free riding experience. However, one downside is the tapered seat, which tends to slide you forward, especially when riding with a pillion. This sliding becomes uncomfortable, particularly during braking in traffic situations.
Practicality & Space
When we buy a scooter we think of practicality and the space it offers. However, the TVS Ntorq offers good space for the rider and the pillion and the footwell area of the scooter is also generous. But it falls short in terms of storage area and practicality. It does offer an under-seat storage compartment but it does not fit a full-face helmet, the footwell area does not offer any storage bin or cubby hole to keep stuff, it just gets two hooks to hold your bags.
Another thing I didn't personally like is that the fuel-filler cap lock is located at the back, using the same keyhole as the under-seat storage. To fill up, you have to step off the scooter and unlock the filler cap. Most modern scooters now have a fuel filler opener near the ignition keyhole, with the under-seat storage opener integrated into the same lock.

The base variant comes with an option of a Drum brake version priced at Rs 84,636 (ex-showroom), and a disc brake version priced at Rs 89,091 (ex-showroom). The Race Edition is priced at Rs 89,641 (ex-showroom), the Marvel character-inspired Super Squad Edition comes with a tag of Rs 95,191 (ex-showroom), the Race XP edition is priced at Rs 96,741 (ex-showroom), and the top of the line XT variant is priced at Rs 1.04 lakh (ex-showroom).
Verdict
TVS Ntorq is one of the most sporty scooter in the Indian market and it should be in your consideration if you are looking for a sporty scooter. It offers sharp and sporty design, good performance, good features and commendable handling. However, the scooter does have some downsides, with practicality being a major one. While it offers some under-seat storage, it isn't enough to hold all your belongings and can't fit a full-face helmet. Moreover, the fuel efficiency takes a hit due to its high-performance characteristics. If you can manage with these downsides, the Ntorq will keep you happy.
