Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG Bike - 5 Key Features
World's Longest Bike Seat
785mm is the length of the unique and long seat of the Freedom 125. This is the longest seat ever fitted on any production motorcycle. The unique design layout for the CNG fuel tank is neatly hidden underneath this seat. Also, due to the unique design of the petrol tank, Bajaj has been able to keep the length of this seat. At the launch of Freedom 125, Mr Rajiv Bajaj also said that it can easily occupy 4 people, while strongly condemning doing it.
CNG-Petrol Fuel Switch
One of the primary feature highlights of the Freedom 125, is the CNG-petrol fuel switch. Being the first-ever CNG motorcycle in the world, it gives the freedom of a bi-fuel hybrid system to the owners. The rider can use the switch provided on the left-side switchgear, to switch between petrol and CNG, whenever required. While the CNG switch is conventionally going to be more economical to use, the petrol button will provide more power and crisp response.
Unique Link-Monoshock Rear Suspension
Bajaj has specifically developed a link-monoshock rear suspension for the Freedom 125. This unique suspension works superbly on Indian road conditions. The broken roads and undulations are well absorbed by it, and the 120mm travel gives ample confidence to the rider to take the bike on unknown bad roads. Out on the highway or even inside the city, it is extremely comfortable with a pillion and load on the bike. Around the corners and bends of ghats, the rear suspension remains intact and works flawlessly.
LED Lights
Bajaj offers the Freedom 125 in three variants. Out of these three, two variants are equipped with an LED headlight. However, all three variants get an LED taillight as a standard fitment. The bright LED lights make it look distinctive on the road, as well as, enhance the visibility on the dark roads, as compared to the halogen lights. The petrol rivals like Honda Shine miss out on this feature, while the Freedom 125 gets it.
Digital Console
Given the fact that Bajaj wanted the Freedom to stand out in the 125cc motorcycle segment, a digital console is fitted as standard equipment. It gets a unique, small yet clear, negative LCD. This console supports various information like trip meter, a fuel economy display, etc. It also gets Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones, via which the rider can access to SMS/call alerts. There is also a dedicated switch on the handlebar to receive incoming calls.
