Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG Vs Hero Glamour Xtec: Engine and Power
The all-new Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG sources its power from a 125cc 4-stroke, air-cooled engine that makes 9.3 bhp of power and 9.7 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. The Freedom 125 CNG is capable of running with a top speed of 93 kmph.
On the other hand, the Hero Glamour Xtec comes powered by a 124.7cc air-cooled engine that produces 10.72 Nm of power and 10.6 Nm torque. The Glamour Xtec runs with a top speed of 95 kmph. The Glamour Xtec has a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres while the Freedom 125 gets a petrol tank with 2 litres of capacity and a 12.5 litres CNG cylinder under the seat.
Braking and Suspension
The Freedom 125 CNG gets telescopic fork suspension in the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear side. The CNG-powered commuter motorcycle features a Combined Braking System (CBS) and gets drum brakes on both sides. While the top-end variant of the Freedom 125 features disc brakes as well.
In comparison, the Glamour Xtec comes equipped with Dia. 30 telescopic front forks and a 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. For the braking duties, there are drum brakes at both ends.

The all-new Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG motorcycle gets a digital instrument cluster that shows crucial information. The top variant even gets Bluetooth connectivity. There will be no OTA updates for the motorcycle. Apart from this, the Freedom 125 has LED daytime running lights, a halogen-type headlight and a taillight in the front. However, the higher variants get LED units on both sides.
On the other hand, the Glamour Xtec also features a digital speedo and odometer. It features an LED headlamp and tail lights with automatic headlights On (AHO) function that the Freedom 125 doesn't get.
Price Comparison
The Freedom 125 CNG has been launched with a starting price tag of Rs. 95000 which goes up to Rs. 1.10 lakh. In comparison, the Hero Glamour Xtec starts at Rs. 88,271 and goes up to Rs. 92,873. All prices are ex-showroom. The Bajaj Freedom 125 is available in two colour options - Pewter Grey- Yellow and Ebony Black- Red. On the other hand, the Hero Glamour gets four colour options including the Metallic Nexus Blue, Grey Blue Stripe, Black and Candy Blazing Red.
