Available in two trims VX and ZX the Xoom 125 starts at Rs 86,900 ex-showroom with bookings opening in February 2025 and deliveries slated for March 2025. Hero Xoom 125: Engine Specifications
The Hero Xoom 125 packs a punch with a new 124.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, borrowed from the recently launched Destini 125. However, Hero has specifically tuned this engine for the Xoom 125, resulting in a claimed 9.8 bhp at 7,250 rpm and 10.4 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. This powertrain delivers impressive acceleration, with Hero claiming a 0-60 kmph sprint time of just 7.6 seconds, making the Xoom 125 the fastest-accelerating 125cc scooter in India. The Xoom 125 is a game-changer for Hero, being their first 125cc scooter to roll on 14-inch wheels. The VX variant gets stylish cast alloy wheels, while the top-spec ZX boasts machined alloys for a premium touch. These wheels are wrapped in wide tubeless tires a 110/80-14 up front and a 120/70-14 at the rear. It boasts a well-sorted suspension setup with a telescopic fork at the front and a single-sided, adjustable shock absorber at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a disc brake up front and a drum brake at the rear.
