Mahindra has finally unveiled the pricing and feature list of all the variant packs of its flagship EV, the XEV 9e. The newly launched Mahindra XEV 9e is the most advanced electric SUV, priced at Rs 21.90 lakh to Rs 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Starting from the base variant pack, the brand has filled the SUV with a plethora of convenience and safety features. Available in two battery pack options, the XEV 9e offers a range of up to 656 km. Mahindra XEV 9e Powertrain
The new XEV 9e comes with two powertrain options; one is a 59 kWh battery pack with 542 km of range. This variant offers a peak power output of 170 kW and 380 Nm of peak torque. The second option is the 79 kWh battery pack with 656 km of range. This version offers a peak power of 210 kW and the same 380 Nm of peak torque. Both these battery packs are available with a single motor mounted to the rear axle.
Pack One - Rs 21.90 Lakh
The Pack One is the base variant of the SUV; this variant is priced at 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes with a single 59 kWh battery pack. Additionally, this variant supports fast charging up to 140 kW, enabling the EV to charge from 20-80% in just 20 minutes. The features available in this variant are mentioned below.

Pack Two - Rs 24.90 Lakh
The Mahindra XEV 9e's second variant is the Pack Two. This variant is available with the same 59 kWh battery pack but gets some additional features over the Pack One. The Pack Two is Rs 3 lakh more expensive than the Pack One, but it offers better safety and convenience features such as Level 2 ADAS, a 16-speaker music system, and more. The XEV 9e Pack Three Select comes with additional safety, technology, comfort, and convenience features. This variant is available with a single 59 kWh battery pack and is Rs 3 lakh more expensive than Pack Two.

Pack Three is the top-of-the-line variant of the XEV 9e lineup. This variant comes with a bigger 79 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 656 km on a single charge. Priced at Rs 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom), this variant is Rs 2.6 lakh more expensive than the Pack Three Select.

Variant Recommendation
The Mahindra XEV 9e comes with a plethora of safety and convenience features, starting from the base variant. Our top recommendation is the Pack Two. This variant offers a good number of features and some feel-good elements as well. Priced at Rs 24.90 lakh (ex-showroom), this variant offers a decent range and comes with almost all the necessary features you need in a car. However, if you are inclined to more premium features and more range, Pack Three can be a good option for you.
