When it comes to the premium SUVs, MG doesn't hold back. JSW MG Motor India recently debuted the Majestor at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, which will be on sale soon. Design & Dimensions
At first glance, both the Majestor and Gloster exude commanding road presence. However, MG successfully gave the Majestor a distinct identity even though both cars look similar, apart from some changes with the soft plastic parts. The SUV features a redesigned grille with sharp LED headlamps. Coming to the rear, it flaunts the new connected taillight setup and a revamped bumper.
When it comes to the dimensions, the Majestor measures 5,046mm in length, 2,016mm in width and 1,876mm in height 61mm longer, 90mm wider and 9mm taller than the Gloster. Even though the Majestor is larger than the Gloster, the wheelbase remains the same.
Interior & Features
MG Gloster is packed with a host of features, including a 12-inch infotainment system, dual pane panoramic sunroof, 12-way power-adjustable driver seats, auto park, ambient lighting, and wireless charging. Referring to the international, the Majestor's dashboard differs from the Gloster with a floating infotainment screen at the centre along with a new digital instrument cluster. Additionally, the Majestor could also be equipped with more premium features over the Gloser due to its being placed above the Gloster.
Powertrains & Specs
At the heart, both cars are powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine clubbed with an 8-speed torque converter unit. However, Gloster offers two options: single-turbo and twin-turbo. The single turbo variant gives out 161 ps and 375 Nm of torque. While the second iteration churns out 215.5 ps and 480 Nm of torque. During its launch at the expo, MG revealed that Majestor will be offered in a new D+ segment, which signals a more premium offering than the Gloster. It will be sold through 'select' offerings, differentiating between MG's premium offerings.
