The new Isuzu MU-X is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.9-litre turbocharged diesel motor that churns out 163 PS of power and 360 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox only and it gets both 4x2 as well as 4x4 drivetrain. The MG Gloster gets two BS6 compliant diesel engines. It gets a 2.0-litre single-turbo mill that churns out 163 PS of power and 375 Nm of peak torque. It also gets a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel motor that churns out a massive 218 PS of power and 480 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines of the Gloster come mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and can be had with 2WD and 4WD respectively.

The Toyota Fortuner is powered by a BS6 compliant 2.8-litre diesel engine. This diesel motor churns out 204 PS of power and 420 Nm of torque with MT and a massive 500 Nm of torque in the AT variants. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Ford Endeavour is powered by a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine. This mill churns out 170 PS of power and 420 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox. Finally, we have the Mahindra Alturas G4 which gets a BS6 compliant 2.2-litre diesel engine that churns out 180 PS of power and 420 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox. All these SUVs can be had with both 2WD as well as 4WD drivetrain options.
