Kia made its Indian debut in August 2019 with the launch of the Seltos mid-size SUV and it became an instant hit. The South Korean carmaker launched the Carnival premium MPV in February 2020 and Sonet sub-compact SUV in September 2020. Kia has today revealed its new logo in India and also gave a hint of its future plans. The company will soon give an update to its best-selling SUVs too and the India launch of the new 2021 Kia Seltos and Sonet will take place in the first week of May 2021.
Kia Unveils Its New Logo and Brand Strategy
Kia has today unveiled its new logo in India and India is the second country in the world after South Korea to get the carmaker's new logo. Kia recently revealed its new corporate logo internationally along with the new brand slogan - Movement That Inspires. The company's new logo represents the company's commitment to becoming an icon for change and innovation. Also, 'Kia Motors India' is now 'Kia India' and with this brand relaunch, the company is trying to focus on illuminating its transition from an automaker to a provider of advanced and eco-friendly mobility solutions.
Kia's Future Plans for India
Kia will soon launch the new Seltos and Sonet in India. The India launch of the new 2021 Kia Seltos and Sonet will take place in the first week of May 2021, i.e. next week. The MY 2021 Seltos and Sonet will get Kia's new logo along with some new features and their prices will be updated. Soon, the Carnival will also be updated. The carmaker has also revealed that they will be entering a new segment in early 2022 and it seems like that it will be a seven-seater version of the Seltos. Mind you, Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta shares platform and mechanicals with each other. Similarly, the upcoming seven-seater Kia Seltos and the soon to be launched - Hyundai Alcazar will also have a lot of things in common with each other.

Kia India also revealed that they are currently working on expanding their strong network to 360 touchpoints that will cover 218 cities, including tier-3 and select tier-4 towns by the end of this year.
