Tata Motors is launching back to back new cars in the Indian market. The company recently launched the Dark Edition of the Altroz, Nexon, Nexon EV & Harrier along with the new facelifted Tiago NRG. This Bombay-based Indian carmaker is now planning to soon launch the Tata Xpres-T EV in the country for the fleet buyers and ahead of its launch, it has been spied at a dealership. Tata Xpres-T EV - What's New?
Tata Motors recently unveiled the facelifted Tigor EV. This updated compact electric sedan will be now a part of the company's new 'Xpres' brand which has been exclusively aimed at fleet operators. Under the new Xpres brand, the company will offer fleet-specific needs of safety, passenger comfort and low cost of ownership. The Tigor Facelift that has now been rechristened as the Tata Xpres-T EV will be the company's first car under the Xpres brand. Ahead of its official launch, the new Tata Xpres-T EV has been spied at a dealership and it looks more matured than the pre-lift version of the EV.

Tata Xpres-T EV - Key Specifications
The Tata Xpres-T EV will be available with two battery pack options. There will be a standard model with a 16.5kWh battery while the extended-range version will pack a 21.5kWh battery. The Xpres-T EV will get a 72V 3-phase AC induction motor that will churn out 41 PS of power and 105 Nm of peak torque. Tata Motors claims that the extended-range version of the EV will offer up to 213 kms of range on a single charge while the standard version will offer a claimed range of 165 kms on a full charge. Tata claims that it can be charged from 0 - 100 per cent in 11.5 hours using a regular charger.
Tata Xpres-T EV - Launch Date and Price
Finally, let's talk about the launch timeline and price. So, the upcoming new Tata Xpres-T electric sedan has been recently spied at a dealership hinting at its imminent launch. It is expected to be launched in the coming weeks and the price might start just under Rs 10 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. The upcoming new Tata Xpres-T EV will only be available for fleet buyers in India and it won't have any direct rivals in the country. In other news, the company is also working on a new Tigor EV with the Ziptron EV powertrain.
