Looks and Colour Shades - The Yamaha FZ-X is a retro motorcycle and so it gets a circular headlamp with LED DRL and a LED taillamp. The motorcycle has an old-school charm and it is available in three stunning colour shades. They are Matt Copper, Matt Black and Metallic Blue shade (gets a tan seat).
Engine Specification - Yamaha FZ-X is powered by a BS6 compliant 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This BS6 motor churns out 12.4 PS of maximum power at 7250 RPM and 13.6 Nm of peak torque at 5500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Hardware - The suspension duties on the FZ-X are performed by telescopic front forks & it gets a mono-shock absorber at the rear. For braking duties, the motorcycle gets disc brakes at either end with single-channel ABS. Also, it runs on 17-inch tubeless tyres and its rear tyre is a superior radial unit.
Features - The Yamaha FZ-X is loaded with features up to the brim. It gets a digital instrument cluster that shows a ton of information. This cluster unit is even compatible with a smartphone via the Yamaha Y-Connect app. With the help of this, one can check FZ-X's mileage, last parked location, mobile battery status, malfunction alert, and even access call and SMS alerts.
Price - The new 2021 Yamaha FZ-X BS6 has been launched in India in two variants. The base variant that doesn't get any sort of connectivity features has been priced at Rs 1.17 lakhs. The top variant that packs Yamaha's new Motorcycle Connect feature has been priced at Rs 1.20 lakhs. All the prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi.
