2022 Hero Xpulse 200 4V now comes with a new headlight design. It gets dual-projector LED headlights as well as DRLs but not for India. Read details below.
The Xpulse 200 has been a constant hit in the entry-level adventure motorcycle segment since its launch. With all the right ingredients, the Xpulse is now becoming an international brand as well. The recent debut of the 2022 Hero Xpulse 200 4V in Turkey proves its worth of it. But, there is a catch. The bike launched in Turkey comes equipped with an all-new LED-projector headlight.
While the Xpulse 200 4V we have in India, comes with a single-pod LED headlight; the bike launched in Turkey gets a new setup. Updated over the official Instagram handle of Hero MotoCorp of Turkey, the new headlight features reworked DRLs & projector LED beam as well.
While the top half of the headlight is a reflector embedded with LED (which is anticipated as a high beam), the lower half gets twin-projector LEDs. The DRL is also now shaped in X format and looks distinguished from the Indian counterpart. Apart from this, the rest of the motorcycle remains the same in design as well as the engine specifications.
The Xpulse has been a successful attempt from the Hero MotoCorp as it enjoys a monopoly in the targeted segment. While the rivals struggle to achieve sales, Xpulse 200 remains the first choice for beginner adventure motorcycle seekers. The reliable 199.6cc, oil-cooled engine produces a peak power of 18.83 hp & 17.35 Nm of peak torque as well. Xpulse uses a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox to deliver the power to the rear wheel.
The reliable mechanism, efficient nature of the engine, & low maintenance costs are the main reason behind the success of the Xpulse. Hero's additional widespread service network also adds peace of min among the buyers. While there are no direct rivals, some of the competitive products include - Honda CB200X, Bajaj Pulsar N250, & TVS Apache 160 4V.
