Honda has confirmed recently that the upcoming 2022 City Hybrid e:HEV will go on sale in the Indian market from May 4. Even before its launch, the sedan has garnered a lot of interest from the market as it gets a six months waiting period already. We believe that the pricing will be well put just under Rs 20 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
As can be seen in the video, there are just a few details that make the City Hybrid different from the ICE version. The changes in the e:HEV model include the new trims around the fog lights, the brand logo with a blue hue, a bootlid spoiler and the rear diffuser that gets a carbon finish effect. Also, the e:HEV badging at the rear. The side profile remains unchanged and gets the same design for the alloy wheels.
We believe that like the ICE versions of the City, this e:HEV too will get five colour options. Those are radiant red metallic, platinum white pearl, golden brown metallic, lunar silver metallic and meteroid grey metallic.

Feature-wise, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, all LED headlights, cruise control, multi-function steering wheel, push-button start/stop and more will be available.
The City hybrid will also take safety up a notch as it gets high beam assist, lane watch assist, collision mitigation with emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, disc brake on all-four wheels, acoustic vehicle system alert and more.

Honda is providing a 3 years/unlimited km warranty on the City e:HEV along with an 8-year warranty on the Li-ion battery. Customers can also extend to 5 years/unlimited km and 10 years/ 1,20,000 km plan as per their choice.
