Mahindra has started the deliveries of its blockbuster SUV, the 2022 Scorpio N. The carmaker has received over 1 lakh bookings so far and the priority deliveries will be set for the top-of-the-line variant, Z8L. The Indian carmaker claims they will deliver 25,000 units of the Scorpio N in the first four months.
Under the hood, Scorpio N is powered by two engine options - 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel motor. Both the motors are seen in the XUV700 as well as Thar, however, the power and torque figures of all SUVs are different. The mStallion petrol here churns out 200 bhp of power with a peak torque of 370 Nm (MT) and 380 Nm(AT).
The oil burner is offered in two tunes - the base Z2 trim belts out a peak power and torque of 129 bhp and 300 Nm, respectively. The recently launched Scorpio Classic also produces the same power and torque figures.

The mid-spec and higher variants of the diesel motor churns out 172 bhp of power with a healthy torque of 370 Nm. This peak torque for the automatic diesel sticks to 400 Nm. The 4WD option is limited to the diesel engine only.
Feature-wise, the Scorpio N is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, an electric sunroof, LED projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control and more.
