Toyota is all set to introduce the Innova Hycross in the Indian market soon and ahead of its official unveil, the same has been spied on Indian roads. The Japanese car manufacturer will be unveiling the Innova Hycross on November 25. The new model is equipped with more features, sits on a new platform and has two petrol engine options.
The spy video showcases the highlight of the Innova Hycross, the panoramic sunroof. It will be the first time ever that Innova will be getting a sunroof and it looks like Toyota has heard the customer demands. The Hycross can now hold tough competition with its rivals.
The panoramic sunroof of the Innova Hycross extends from the windscreen to the C-pillar of the car, indicating that it is quite huge in size. Further details in the video reveal a new steering wheel. Although it looks small, we believe that it will be quite handy for all types of drivers.

Other bits from the video showcased a new floating touchscreen infotainment system. The exact size is yet unknown but we do expect features like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features that we expect are dual-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, heated ORVMs, an electronic parking brake and more.
In addition to this, reports are being circulated on the internet that the Innova Hycross will also get ADAS as a safety feature. Some of the features of this include
Adaptive Cruise Control
Lane Assist
Lane Departure Warning
Auto high-beam
Road Sign Alert
Pre-collision system (Car, Pedestrian and Cyclist)
Proactive Driving Assist
Mechanically, Innova Hycross will be available with two engine options - a strong hybrid and a naturally aspirated petrol. Both the motors are expected to be of 2.0L capacity and the same that we see in the new-gen Corolla. This 2.0L unit is available in hybrid as well as non-hybrid forms. There will be no diesel engine this time.
