Toyota Urban Cruiser EV

Last Update on 24th Jan'25: Toyota India has showcased its Urban EV concept at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. The recently unveiled Urban BEV concept is the Toyota badged twin of the Maruti Suzuki eVitara. It gets a redesigned headlamp, a different LED DRL, a redesigned taillamp, and a new design for the alloy wheels as compared to the Maruti eVitara. The brand has not yet revealed the interior and battery specifications of the upcoming Toyota Urban BEV.

Design: The Toyota Urban BEV concept gets a closed-off grille, LED headlamp, a distinctive LED DRL, a different alloy wheel design, big body claddings, and a tweaked rear profile with different taillamps as compared to the Maruti eVitara. The brand has also tweaked the bumpers to give a distinctive look.

Interior: Toyota has not yet revealed the interior of the Urban BEV concept but we believe that it will be similar to its Maruti counterpart. It will get a dual-screen setup and a clean dashboard design with dual-tone or maybe black treatment. On the features front, it will get a fixed glass roof for the front row, wireless charging, auto-dimming IRVM, 360-degree camera, and electric parking brake among other highlights. 

Powertrain: The Toyota Urban BEV is expected to get the same 49 kWh and a 61 kWh battery pack. The EV is expected to offer a range of around 400-500 km on a single charge. Additionally, the smaller battery pack version will come with an FWD setup and the bigger battery pack version will be available with an AWD setup.
