2. Mechanicals: Kawasaki Eliminator With A 451cc Heart
The Kawasaki Eliminator is propelled by a 451cc liquid-cooled eight-valve DOHC parallel-twin engine, utilizing a 180-degree crank and a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. Derived from the Ninja 400, the engine maintains a 70mm bore but features a longer stroke of 58.6mm, enhancing bottom-end torque suitable for a cruiser. It delivers a peak power of 47bhp at 10,000rpm and peak torque of 37Nm at 8,000rpm, while redlining at 12000rpm.
3. Features: Up To Date
The Kawasaki Eliminator keeps gadgetry simple with a monochromatic LCD instrument cluster. The circular dial provides essential information such as speed, revs, gear position, time, and fuel level. Additionally, it allows toggling between dual trip meters, current fuel range, and average fuel consumption. For added convenience, the Eliminator is compatible with the Kawasaki Rideology app, offering features like ride recording, maintenance log, and general bike information, enhancing the overall riding experience.
4. Chasis, Dimension, & Suspension
The Kawasaki Eliminator, with a compact design and a weight of 176kg, features a 2.25m length, 150mm ground clearance, and a rider-friendly seat height of 735mm (optional heights: 765mm and 715mm). The bike's 30-degree rake angle ensures stability, and its mid-position footpegs provide a neutral riding position. It employs a 41mm telescopic fork at the front with an 18-inch alloy wheel and a 130/70 tubeless tire, while the rear has a 16-inch wheel with 150/80 rubber and twin shocks. Braking is handled by a 310mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc, both equipped with dual-channel ABS for added safety.
5. Kawasaki Eliminator Is Here, But What More Options?
The Eliminator enters the market with a 451cc capacity, placing it in competition with the Triumph 400 twins and the recently launched RE Himalayan. Despite its engine size, its performance figures elevate it to the realm of the RE Super Meteor 650 category, where it shares the parallel-twin configuration with other models

The Kawasaki Eliminator 400 distinguishes itself from a traditional cruiser by presenting a modern interpretation. While it maintains cruiser aesthetics, it is well-suited for city streets and is adaptable for longer journeys on the highways, making it a versatile option for riders seeking a blend of urban agility and highway cruising capabilities.
