2025 Kia EV6 Details

A first look may not be enough for most people to differentiate between the old and the new EV6. The 2025 EV6 retains the core design and silhouette, but there are a few tweaks here and there for a fresher look. The sleek and angular headlights are in-sync with the car maker's latest design language, and it also gets a mildly redesigned front bumper.

The profile remains familiar, but the 19-inch glossy alloy rims are new, and moving to the rear, save for mild tweaks to the tail lamp and the bumper, not much has changed. There are five paint schemes to choose from; Snow-White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Wolf Grey, Runway Red & Yacht Blue Matte.
Some substantial changes include the addition of a newer 84kWh battery pack, which now replaces the 77.4kWh battery pack from the outgoing car. The new 84kWh battery pack comes with a claimed range of 663km on a single charge. In terms of charging, Kia claims a 10-80% charge in just 18 minutes via a 350kW DC fast charger. However, regular charging times have not been specified.

The EV6 will now be offered solely in the GT-Line all-wheel drive trim, as the rear-wheel drive variant now gets axed. The all-wheel drive trim comes with a dual-electric motor setup, producing 320bhp and 605Nm of torque, and a 0-100kmph can be done in a claimed time of 5.3 seconds.

On the inside, it gets a new steering wheel, along with a slightly tweaked dual screen setup for the instrument cluster and the infotainment screen, and it also now gets a digital key system. The ADAS suite has also been updated to receive things such as junction turning, junction crossing, lane change assist, lane follow assist, and evasive steering assist.
