Ather 450 Apex: What To Expect?
The booking for the 450 Apex has been available for a while now, and the good news is that it only requires a fully refundable deposit of Rs 2,500. If you take a look at the teaser image, you'll notice a sleek and sporty design, similar to its sibling scooters. Now, what makes the Apex stand out is that it's the first Ather scooter, after the Series 1 450X, to showcase transparent side panels, adding a unique touch.
One exciting feature to look forward to is the introduction of a brand-new riding mode called Warp+. This mode is expected to outperform the current Warp mode found in the 450 Apex, promising even quicker acceleration. Another upgrade we can expect is a more robust motor compared to the 450X, making the Apex the most powerful version in the 450 range. This new Warp+ ride mode will complement the existing Eco, Ride, and Sport modes in the scooter's features.

Interestingly, the 450X variant is expected to maintain continuity by utilizing the same 3.7 kWh battery pack. But the upcoming boost in power is poised to significantly elevate the scooter's overall performance. Projections suggest a targeted top speed of approximately 100 kmph and an impressive 0-40 kmph acceleration time of around 3 seconds.
Anticipated to hit the roads in March 2024, the 450 Apex, while promising enhanced performance, will be made available in limited quantities. Potential buyers should be prepared for a premium pricing structure compared to the 450X Pro, currently listed at Rs 1.67 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) inclusive of the charger and subsidies.
