Ather Energy is excited to announce a remarkable milestone the production of their 200,000th e-scooter. The CEO, Tarun Mehta, shared the news on social media, highlighting the journey from the earlier milestone of 100,000 at the beginning of the year to the impressive 200,000 units by the end of this eventful year. This achievement signifies the growth and success of Ather Energy in the electric scooter market.

Ather Energy Exceeds 2 Lakh Units In Production: Highlights
In November 2023, Ather Energy reported a robust total sales figure of 9,344 units, indicating a significant growth of 22.5% compared to the same period last year. It's worth noting, though, that these numbers represent a slight dip from October 2023, during which the company achieved sales of 10,056 units, reflecting a month-on-month decline of approximately 7%.
Despite the minor dip in sales, Ather Energy made noteworthy expansions during the month. The company not only added 11 new experience centres across various locations in India but also made its first foray into the international market by establishing its inaugural dealership in Nepal.

The company launched its most budget-friendly option, the 450S, in 2023. This model comes in two versions: Core priced at Rs 1.30 lakh and Pro at Rs 1.43 lakh. The scooter offers a choice of four colours - Still White, Space Grey, Cosmic Black, and Salt Green. To secure a booking, a fully refundable amount of Rs 2,500 is required.
Powering the 450S is a 2.9 kWh lithium-ion battery, providing a certified range of up to 115 km and a real-world range of about 90 km in SmartEco mode. Charging from 0 to 80% takes approximately 6 hours and 36 minutes. The scooter boasts a 17.7 cm (7) DeepView" display and features such as Turn-by-Turn navigation, auto-hold, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), FallSafe, tow, and theft alerts.
Looking ahead, Ather is set to launch its newest model, the 450 Apex, in early 2024. Additionally, the company has plans to introduce a new family scooter, marking the brand's second model line, with details expected to be revealed in January 2024.
