Ather Rizta: The Biggest Yet!
The main highlight of the Ather Rizta is something that the brand is pushing all the way. It is being called a family e-scooter with sizeable real estate. What we mean by this is that it carries a large front floorboard that can carry a lot of luggage and things for your daily errands. This was reinforced by previous spy shots where the scooter with 2 passengers, was seen carrying enough things at the front floorboard.
Next up is the seat size, which has been showcased as a standalone unit in a teaser post. It is also being touted as the biggest in the segment. This coupled with a large boot space is what is expected to pull the family-oriented buyers.
Features And A Smarter Accessory
In further leaks and reveals, we now have a glimpse of the digital instrument touchscreen console and a few features that the brand revealed. You get a large under-seat storage, a USB charging socket, and a smart Halo helmet. While everything else is self-explanatory, let's talk about the Smart Halo helmet in brief. Ather has confirmed that the Rizta will not have any onboard speaker, but the audio support will be delivered through the connected Smart helmet. The brand is stating this to be a more immersive experience for the riders. It will be connected using Bluetooth connectivity and could support calling as well.

Ather Rizta: Battery Range, And Expected Price
While the battery and range specs have not been revealed by the brand, we expect it to be shared with the 450X. That scooter comes with a choice of either a 3.7 kWh battery or a 2.9 kWh unit. It is likely that both the options will be offered with the Rizta and it could claim a range of around 150 km on a single charge. The introductory price could loom around Rs. 1.3 lakh mark.
Verdict
The Rizta will be finally revealed tommorow putting a rest to all rumours. While it takes up a more conventional styling route, it has a specific purpose for it. Attracting the family oriented buyers, it aims to put forward a more elegant design with practical and large strorage spaces. However, pricing plays a major role in the Indian market, where if priced reasonably, it could put a serious dent int the sales of its rivals like the Bajaj Chetak, and TVS iQube.
