Electric Vehicles are gradually becoming very popular in India and not just in the mass-market segment but in the luxury class too. Mercedes-Benz EQC was the first luxury EV to be launched in India back in October 2020. It was followed by the launch of the Jaguar I-PACE in March this year. Now finally, Audi has also joined the bandwagon of luxury EVs. Audi has today launched its first electric car in India. Audi e-tron, e-tron Sportback - Price in India
Audi has launched the all-new e-tron luxury electric vehicle in two different body style options in India. They are the standard e-tron SUV and the e-tron Sportback. The standard Audi e-tron SUV is available with the e-tron 50 and the e-tron 55 variants while its Sportback version has been launched in just one variant, the e-tron Sportback 55. The price of the new Audi e-tron starts in India at Rs 99.99 lakhs, Ex-showroom pan-India. You can check out the variant-wise prices of the e-tron & the e-tron Sportback in the table below:

Audi e-tron, e-tron Sportback - Powertrain Options
The Audi e-tron 50, as well as the e-tron 55 versions, get two electric motors, one on each axle. The e-tron 50 churns out 313 PS of power and 540 Nm of torque. It does 0-100 kmph in 6.8 seconds. It gets a 71 kW battery that offers a claimed range of 264 - 379 kms on a single charge. The e-tron 55 and its Sportback version churns out 402 PS of power and 664 Nm of torque. It can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 5.7 seconds and Audi claims a driving range of 359 - 484 kms on a single charge from its 95 kW Li-ion battery pack. It gets a Quattro system too. All Audi e-trons in India will get an 11 kW AC home charger that will take 8.5 hours to charge it from 0-80 per cent. By using a DC fast charger, it can be charged from 0-80 per cent in 30 minutes.
Audi e-tron, e-tron Sportback - Colours and Rivals
Audi is offering the e-tron SUV in eight colour shades. They are Catalunya Red, Floret Silver, Galaxy Blue, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue, Siam Beige and Typhoon Grey. The Audi e-tron Sportback gets all the eight colour shades along with a new Plasma Blue colour. The new Audi e-tron rivals the Jaguar I-PACE and the Mercedes-Benz EQC in India.
