Audi India will launch the facelifted version of their upcoming flagship sedan, A8L on July 12. The pre-bookings for the same commenced last month at a price of Rs 10 lakh and once launched, the A8L will rival Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7-Series. We expect the price of the Audi A8L to stick between Rs 1.60 Cr to Rs 1.80 Cr, ex-showroom, Delhi.

Under the hood, the A8L facelift will be powered by a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that belts out 336 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 540 Nm. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox and the power will be distributed to all four wheels.
Design-wise, the facelifted version of the A8L now becomes more aggressive than before and packs in more chrome highlights on the outside. At the front, the new grille design is now sharper and bolder than before with the aggressive mesh grille set-up made up of chrome and the slim LED matrix headlights completing the overall front design.

This facelifted version of the Audi A8L also gets a reworked bumper design and there's a chrome strip that runs across the width of the bumper. The side profile remains more or less the same except for the new alloy wheels design. At the rear, things remain the same, however, the German carmaker has now tweaked the taillights a bit the overall set-up remains the same as before.
On the inside, things remain mostly the same as before but now the rear seats get more convenience features than before. The rear-seat passengers will now get a 10.1-inch infotainment screen alongside a touchscreen remote, a cooler with its own bar compartment, a fold-out console table and more such things. Overall, Audi has now enhanced the chauffeur-driven experience by quite some margin.
