Audi India Unveils Country's First Renewable-Powered Ultra-Fast Charging Station!

Audi India recently opened the country's inaugural high-speed charging station in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). Created in partnership with ChargeZone, this cutting-edge charger has an outstanding total capacity of 450kW, providing an impressive 360kW of power to electric vehicles. Equipped with a 500-amp liquid-cooled gun for optimal performance and efficiency, this charging station marks a significant step forward in the development of fast-charging infrastructure in India.

Audi India: RE-Powered Ultra-Fast Charging Point

The Audi Q8 55 e-tron, equipped with a massive 114 kWh batterythe largest on any passenger vehicle in Indiacan swiftly charge from 20% to 80% in just 26 minutes. Aligning with Audi's commitment to sustainability, the high-speed charging station, known as the 'e-tron hub,' operates entirely on green energy. Moreover, the hub features a solar roof that not only contributes to its power supply but also supports additional electrical needs like lighting.

The super-fast charging station is built to make your charging experience hassle-free and worry-free. It comes with powerful chargers that can quickly juice up your e-tron. And here's a nice touch  if you're an e-tron owner charging at the hub, you get free premium coffee vouchers. But that's not all. This high-tech 'e-tron hub' isn't just about charging; it's a comfortable place too. There's a cosy lounge where you can relax while your e-tron is doing its thing. Plus, there will be friendly and helpful staff around to assist you with anything you might need.

Audi India: Charge My Audi

Audi India has unveiled a groundbreaking feature called 'Charge my Audi' on the myAudiConnect app, providing Audi e-tron users with a seamless solution for accessing various electric vehicle charging partners through a single app. This initiative, powered by Numocity Technology's eMSP roaming solution, is a first-of-its-kind move that prioritizes customer convenience.

The app currently integrates five charging partnersAargo EV Smart, Charge Zone, Relux Electric, LionCharge, and Zeon Charging. Until March 2024, Audi e-tron customers enjoy complimentary charging across the network, excluding Zeon Charging. 'Charge my Audi' currently boasts over 1,000 charging points, with ongoing plans to add more in the coming months.

Audi India has successfully set up over 140 charging stations in 73 cities across the country. These chargers are not only available at Audi dealerships and workshops but also at select SAVWIPL Group brand dealerships strategically placed along highways. This move aims to make owning an Audi electric vehicle (EV) more convenient for customers.
