Bajaj Chetak 3202: What Does It Get?

There are no visual differences to speak of, as the Chetak 3202 continues to receive the same neo-retro styling with its steel body. The design continues to work even today, although some might say a small facelift might be needed.

The Chetak 3202 continues with the same 3.2 kWh battery pack, which gives the scooter a claimed range of 137km on a single charge. The battery pack can be juiced up in a claimed time of 5.5 hours, via a portable 650W charger. The 3202 also keeps things fairly sedate with a top speed of 63kmph.

In terms of equipment, the Chetak 3202 continues to feature the familiar colour LCD instrument cluster, along with a keyless system, a single eco ride mode, and app connectivity with tamper alerts, vehicle health information, OTA updates, and geo-tagging.

However, Bajaj is also offering the TecPac, which adds in a few more features. The TecPack replaces the LCD cluster with the new 5-inch TFT screen, and along with that comes reverse mode, turn-by-turn navigation, two riding modes, hill-hold, music streaming, and a higher top speed of 73kmph.

At Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom), the Chetak 3202 goes up against the TVS iQube 2.2kWh and the base variant of the Ather Rizta. What would you pick between these electric scooters? Do let us know!

Verdict

The Chetak 3202 is the variant you should opt for if you're dead-set on buying a Chetak. With the TecPac costing just Rs 5000 more, you can get more equipment for a marginally higher price, with the looks of a neo-retro electric scooter with a durable metal body.
