Bajaj CT 100 is one of the most affordable BS6-compliant motorcycles currently on sale in the Indian market. The CT 100 is Bajaj's entry-level motorcycle in India and it is very popular in the sub-urban and rural areas. Now, in order to to make the CT 100 a bit more appealing to the masses, the company has just launched the new Bajaj CT 100 Kadak Version. It has been priced at Rs. 46,432, Ex-showroom Delhi. Here are all the details about it.
The new Bajaj CT 100 Kadak Version is based on the Kick-start variant of the CT 100. Bajaj Auto has recently the hiked the prices of the CT 100 Series. At present, the CT 100 KS (kick-start) is priced at Rs. 44,890 while the CT 100 ES (electric-start) is priced at Rs. 51,802. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. The new CT 100 Kadak Version, on the other hand, has been launched at Rs. 46,432, Ex-showroom Delhi. Thus, for just around 1,542 rupees premium over the kick-start variant, the new Kadak Version adds a lot of goodies.
In total, the new Kadak Version gets eight new add-ons. For starters, it gets fork-cover gaiters for the front telescopic forks, new rubber tank pads, new fuel meter (earlier it wasn't available in CT 100 KS), etc. It also gets a thicker and flatter seat, more sturdy handlebar, chunky grab handles, flexible and clear lens for the turn indicators and larger mirrors. All in all, the new Bajaj CT 100 Kadak Version now resembles the CT 110 and looks more macho and appealing. Earlier, the CT 100 had the tagline 'Kadak Bhi, Stylish Bhi', this new Kadak version gets the tagline 'Sadak Pe Kadak'.
Apart from these aforementioned upgrades, there are no other changes in this motorcycle. Mechanically, the motorcycle remains exactly the same as before. The new Bajaj CT 100 is powered by a BS6-compliant 102cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected, DTS-i engine. This motor churns out 7.9 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 8.34 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. It gets telescopic forks at the front and spring-loaded dual shock absorbers at the rear. The braking duties are handled by drum brakes at either end and it gets CBS too.
Finally, talking about the new colour variants. So, the new Bajaj CT 100 BS6 Kadak Version will be available in three colour variants - Gloss Ebony Black, Matte Olive Green and Gloss Flame Red.
