- Multiple images now showcase the bike from all angles
- Scrambler & Touring versions expected
- No word on specs, features yet from the companies
- Might be positioned in the Rs 3-4 lakh bracket
The upcoming small capacity motorcycle from the Bajaj-Triumph alliance was recently caught testing on Indian soil. The model has been on real world evaluation rides internationally and the recent set of pictures do reveal a lot. Infact, test mule had touring accessories strapped on and this does give a hint of the segment towards which the bike will be targeted at. As of now, both Bajaj and Triumph are tightlipped on the specifications, features, pricing and launch time frame of the machine.
Scrambler and touring versions?
As is the case with recent launches where manufacturers tend to offer different styling and riding posture on the same model, we expect the upcoming Triumph Bajaj 350 bikes to follow the same trend. Infact, as per various online reports, two iterations are expected. These include a scrambler model with minimal body panels and a touring version that will offer accessories too. If and when launched, both the models would differ in terms of riding posture (handle and pegs) as well as tuning of the engine. There could be a difference in the kind and size of tyres used.
Bajaj - Triumph 350 Rivals
The upcoming motorcycles will step into a segment that is currently on fire. From the recently launched Zontes bikes to offerings from the segment leader Royal Enfield, the Triumph - Bajaj models will also rub shoulders with various Yezdi models. But the bikes won't come cheap and will be priced between Rs 3 to 3.5 lakh. Yes, they will command a premium but could also be the best bikes in terms of build quality, dynamics and performance.
Bajaj - Triumph 350 Images
Before we sign off, here are more images of the upcoming bike. The ones with no accessories were taken earlier this year in the UK (source). Closer inspection also reveals the test mule seen here has minimal body panels and looks a lot like the Royal Enfield Hunter. What are your thoughts on this bike?
