Benelli recently teased the upcoming Benelli TRK 251 ahead of the launch of the bike in India on December 6. The entry-level adventure bike was first unveiled at the 2017 EICMA motorcycle show and boasts a similar styling that we also see on the larger TRK models. Here are all the details regarding the Benelli TRK 252 that you should know about this bike. Powering the Benelli TRK 2551 is a 249 cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 25.8 hp and 21.2 Nm on the international-spec TRK. The brand is expected to retain the same engine. On the design front, the TRK 251 features an aggressive design and boasts a 170mm ground clearance. High ground clearance and USD forks upfront not only improves the capabilities of the bike but also ensure that it is practical enough for the long-distance commute. The TRK 251 gets a compact footprint and a side-flung muffler that makes it slightly different from the larger 502. Moreover, the global TRK 251 weighs 164 kg and gets an 18-L fuel tank with an 800mm seat height.

The TRK 251 is expected to get the same 17-inch road-focused tyres that we also see on the global model and will feature 280mm disc brakes at the front and 240mm brakes at the rear. We may also see dual-channel ABS being offered with the bike. Once launched, the Benelli TRK will take on rivals like the KTM 250 Adventure is expected to be priced from INR 2-2.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
