In India, the reach of premium bikes and cars is at a rise as compared to previous times. However, the known manufacturer, BMW Group was able to sell 5000 bikes in India thus showing a rapid increase in sales. With the increase in demand for motorcycles in India, the manufacturers are in profit as the bikers are slowly adapting to the motorist culture in India as well. The purchasing habits can observe a complete change as compared to the earlier times.
The Indian society is now floating with young enthusiasts with riding capabilities covering distances either with their own groups or even there are few riders who prefer solo rides. With this biking craze, the company was able to achieve the highest sales in the current year which calls out for the celebration. BMW with its motorcycles was able to reach a growth rate of approx 100% as compared to the previous year.
The total sales of BMW summed up to 90% because of its two most sold motorcycles - G 310 R and G 310 RS. Though the G 310 twins were hitting the sales chart, BMW also launched a plethora of bikes in 2021. The list includes C 400 GT, R 1250 GS Adventure, R 1250 R, S 1000 R, M 1000 RR, R 18 classic, and T nine T and R nine T Scrambler. These newly added sporty commuters also affected the BMW sales but G 310 twin was the stage setter.

According to the group they faced a lot of hardships in reaching this point however, the company is happy to see how Indian society is on the verge of making a shift. The financial services of the company are offering loans on vehicles at lower interest rates which can be paid within 84 months. The BMW Group said in a statement, The customised and flexible financial solutions were significantly valuable to the premium clientele of BMW Motorrad and helped tremendously in facilitating sales performance.
Vikram Pawah, the President of BMW Group India said, Since its inception, BMW Motorrad has redefined the premium motorcycling scenario in India with its dynamic product range and bespoke riding experiences." He added, "A phenomenal year for BMW Motorrad in India. Despite the turbulence in the two-wheeler industry, we have performed well and achieved exponential growth."

The company also said that they are in plan to introduce more such motorcycles in India to tackle the young enthusiasts with BMW sporty motorcycles.
