2025 will witness the launch of the updated version of some of the big bikes worldwide. One primary reason for this update would be the Euro 5+ emissions standards. In this league, BMW has become a pioneer by updating the S1000 R, M 1000 R, S 1000 RR and M 1000 RR. Whereas naked ones now come with a new design, the fully-faired ones now have better aerodynamics to offer. BMW S 1000 RR and M 1000 RR: What's New?

The updated M 1000 RR churns out 6 bhp more than the previous version. This may have happened due to new state of tune for the motor. For numbers, you must know that the new motor makes 218 hp. Also, the motorcycle now has improved electronic aids and a dedicated ABS mode for slick tyres. Additionally, the new M 1000 RR gets bigger winglets and updated fairing as well.

On the other hand, the second fully faired motorcycle- S 1000 RR gets an updated fairings and winglets. On the mechanical front, things remain exactly same with the S 1000 RR. The 2025 S 1000 RR gets wheel covers for the front wheel that houses cooling ducts to lower down the temperature of brake callipers.

The 2025 S 1000 R makes 5 bhp more than the previous version, taking the power output to 170 hp. Both R models now get a new front fascial that incorporates a new twin pod LED headlight. Also, now there are features on offer like Engine Drag Torque Control and USB-C charging port positioned under the seat. For the M 1000 RR, there is no change mechanically and makes same power figures as before. Notably, the M 1000 R get the same quick throttle on offer with the S 1000 R. Apart from this, now it gets black painted winglets.

BMW's 2025 updates to its S 1000 and M 1000 series underline the brand's commitment to performance and innovation.
