BMW India has launched the BMW X4 M40i with a price tag of Rs 96.20 lakh (ex-showroom). The M40i will be offered in India as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) unit and in restricted quantities. Enthusiastic buyers can reserve this SUV exclusively through BMW India's online store. Additionally, the X4 M40i will be accessible in a single variant. BMW X4 M40i - Exterior
The exterior of the M40i showcases a distinct design characteristic of a sports activity coupe. At the front, it features a Dark BMW M kidney grille with a chrome frame, double kidney bars in a high-gloss black finish, and the M logo. The slim Adaptive LED Headlamps lend a more focused appearance to the front. Additionally, the M Shadow Line elements provide a dark tint around the headlamps. The vehicle is equipped with the M High Gloss Shadow Line with extended features, giving the window graphics, roof rails, and the bars of the BMW kidney grille a high-gloss black finish.
Moving to the rear, the X4 M40i includes free-form tailpipe trims in black chrome with two distinctive "teeth." The car comes with 20-inch Jet Black M light alloy wheels, featuring a double-spoke design (699M) with mixed tires sized 245/45 R20 at the front and 275/40 R20 at the rear. M Sport brakes are available and come with Red-high gloss brake calipers.
Interior
Inside the vehicle, you'll find a three-spoke steering wheel, M interior trim finishers in Carbon Fiber, and a premium Sports Activity Coupe (SAC) with Sports Seats. These seats offer multiple electrical adjustment options and a memory function for added comfort. The car also features an electrically operated panoramic sunroof to enhance the interior's ambiance. Ambient Lighting with six selectable colors, along with a welcome Light Carpet projected from the side sill, greets passengers in a stylish manner. The cabin exudes exclusivity with its leather upholstery.
The BMW Live Cockpit Professional includes 3D Navigation, a 12.3-inch digital information display positioned behind the steering wheel, a 12.3-inch Control Display, and a BMW Head-up Display. It gets Wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ensures seamless smartphone integration, granting access to various functions. The vehicle also boasts a Harman Kardon Surround Sound System with 16 speakers, providing an immersive auditory experience.

BMW X4 M40i Engine
The M40i is driven by a 3.0-liter BMW M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine, delivering 360 bhp of power and a maximum torque of 500 Nm in the range of 1,900 to 5,000 rpm. This enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hr in a mere 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/hr. Adding to its performance, the 48-volt mild hybrid technology enhances both driving efficiency, reducing fuel consumption, and elevates overall driving comfort.
