Everything else remains the same, be it on the outside or under the hood. The Astor continues with the same two powertrain options, the first being a 1.5-litre nat-asp petrol unit with 108.5bhp and 144Nm of torque, while paired to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. The other is a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol unit producing 138bhp and 220Nm of torque, paired to an 6-speed torque-converter automatic.

Below is the updated price list of the Astor, with the 1.5-litre nat-asp engine (all prices ex-showroom);

Verdict

Introduced back in 2021, the current Astor has hung around for quite long, and it feels overdue for a major replacement. With the global-spec Astor on sale in other markets, it may just be a matter of time before we see it on our roads. However, the current-gen Astor is still a car worth recommending on the basis tbe amount of space and number of features it offers in this segment.
